DESCRIPTION:Burwarton Show is a great day out for all the family offering the opportunity to meet and catch up with friends\, new and old\, in beautiful surroundings.\n\n\n\nBURWARTON SHOW\nTHURSDAY 1 AUGUST 2024\nA UNIQUE ONE-DAY AGRICULTURAL SHOW \n\n\nThe showground is packed with things to see and do for all ages. The Livestock area has a wide range of classes for cattle\, sheep and pigs and hosts the Shearing competition which is always popular with competitors and spectators. The Horse area offers affiliated and non-affiliated classes for a broad range of equine disciplines including dressage and British Show Jumping. \nOther showground attractions to look out for include a display of rare breed poultry\, alpacas\, majestic heavy horses\, the wonderful Giant Aldabra Tortoises\, Amerton Arts Studio with their hands-on craft demonstrations where youngsters can have a go at wood-turning\, fly-casting demonstrations\, vintage tractors and stationary engines and much much more. \n\n\nFurther information will be available via social media and our website as the month’s progress. SUMMARY:Brecon County Show 2024
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe Livestock & Equine at the Brecon County Show are one of the highlights for many visitors. This is\, after all\, a “proper” agricultural show. \nPeople travel from all over the country to have their cattle\, sheep\, horses\, ponies\, donkeys and goats compete here\, which ensures a high quality and good standard of competition. \nThe animals themselves are hugely impressive. And to see how well they are cared for and the amount of work that goes into that care is also quite something to behold.

DESCRIPTION:Once again there will be some sixty cattle classes and over thirty sheep classes where some of the best livestock in the country can be seen. \nThere are around eighty equine classes including Showjumping and qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show and the Royal International Horse Show. \nDetails of our main ring attractions will be published shortly.\nOur featured acts will perform twice on the day so plenty of opportunity to see them. Timings will be in the show guide available on the day.
